DIALYSIS
The Dialysis unit at Mother Vannini Hospital was started in 2013 with 3 Dialysis machines. Dialysis care at our Hospital is provided by a certified hemodialysis technician. The unit provides hemodialysis to a diverse group of adult patients who have chronic (long-term) kidney failure. Hemodialysis is a treatment that replaces the work of kidneys to clear wastes and extra fluid from the blood. This is done using a special filter called a dialyzer or artificial kidney. Blood travels through plastic tubing to the dialyzer, where it is cleaned and then returned back to circulation. The dialysis machine pumps blood through the dialysis system and controls the treatment time, temperature, fluid removal and pressure.
The unit´ s goal is to maintain and improve the overall health and quality of life for patients with End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD). We continuously monitor patient satisfaction and clinical indicators in order to measure and improve the quality of patient care and to maintain our high standards of operation.
We assist the patient with Hemodialysis and also place Jugular and Femoral catheter with affordable cost for the procedure.
Our services are 24/7 in the hospital.
